Grimaldi`s Pizza in Garden City

Service was excellent! But everything else was average.Starting with soiled menus, I've gotten entree's with less sauce on them. The chicken wings were soggy and cold but the flavor was good. The pizza was average it also would have been better if it had spent more time in the oven.

One of my favorite spots to grab some food. convenient location, neat, and awesome customer service. I highly recommend them!

We went here because the reviews didn’t seem bad and hey, it’s Garden City! It has to be good! Not really... When we walked in the hostess was texting and didn’t acknowledge us for a good few minutes. We ordered the meatball appetizer and were shocked to see they were about chef boyardee/walmart tier frozen meatballs. You would think an Italian place would have homemade meatballs. The pizza itself was...ok. It wasn’t anything to write home to mom about and I don’t think it was a $25 level pizza, maybe more of a $15 level. I used to work in a pizzeria making pies and I felt as though the pizza was lacking flavor. No one asked for refills and napkins weren’t provided when the meal came out. Sorry guys but it wasn’t the greatest first impression.

Delicious, authentic brick oven pizza (some of the best I’ve had since getting back from Italy.) I ate it before I could take a picture. Just stopped in for a regular personal pizza, but would definitely recommend.

Prix fox lunch offers a12 inch pie, gourmet salad and unlimited beverage for a reasonable price-food was delicious

Soft, crunchy crust, delicious custom toppings, Best pizza I've had on long island. Ice tea and deserts are top notch. Delicious for any meal. Affordable prices. It is a little crowded so I recommend a reservation at least 30 minutes prior. Great staff, cozy spot. 🍕🥂🍺

Gluten free? Sure I'll try it (once).I don't know if all pies or some are gluten free but my crust did not take like the consistent pies of my past experience either at the Brooklyn location or here. The crust was soft and something felt off. I'm not sure if I want to try this location again in the future.

The food and service is always amazing I love the pizza here. I’m never disappointed, 5 stars food and service. I never leave unhappy, it’s always busy. But you will never have to wait to be seated.

Fantastic pizza, once you start going there ypu will never stop. Live in Suffolk county and every time I'm in the area we have to stop and have Grimald's pizza.

Excellent pizza. We always get a table and have a ceaser salad, pie with a Sangria .. delicious especially in the summer. Sometimes have desert and have never been disappointed.Plenty of parking and rarely a wait.

We stopped here on the spur of the moment for dinner on Friday evening, grandparents visiting from out of state We wanted seating for 5 + a baby. Right after us, a party of 4 came in, also with no reservation. They were seated with no waiting. We were told we have to wait 30 + mins; no explanation offered. My wife wanted an explanation for why 4 could be accommodated but not 5. The hostess actually got a snappy attitude and said she felt insulted that we would ask such a question. Instead of understanding our request and trying to answer in a customer-appreciative manner, she wanted to drag us through the restaurant to see how busy it was. Which didn't address our question. I guess her having a busy stressful night is a legitimate reason to insult potential customers expecting good customer service. Hostess needs training or anger management counseling. We won't be back.

This place is bougie. As someone whose worked in restaurants before, I noticed some things about professionalism that could have been improved on, such as the bartender not offering take out any water if someone is seated at the bar, encouraging me to sign a credit card slip that required no signature because he was just tip hungry.

Consistently good. We almost always just get a plain pie. Their cheese and sauce is really good so we don't "mess" with a good thing.

Ordered on uber eats. The menu could be a bit more descriptive rather than just stating the size of pizza ( for eg. Would be nice to know what cheese you use or if there are herbs on it). Once ordered the preparation was quick and sure enough it was on it's way. It took 5 mins for delivery and the pizza was packed in a brown paper bag which at first I thought was better for the environment 👍 then I realised that any paper with food waste can't be recycled so really it makes no difference if it's in a box or not. The pizza was pretty cold given I was eating it within 7 minutes of it leaving the shop, I was disappointed 😔 (bring back the box or think of a better way to keep it insulated). The pizza base and crust was excellent, the sauce was great but where was the cheese????? I've had a better experience dining-in but with covid-19 you can do better at delivery.

The food and service was great. Whoever be aware, they do NOT accept coupons that the company sends out. They said, this is for Brooklyn branch and we are not affiliated, really??!! Even though coupon is clearly from Girmaldies and NO BRANCH is stated on it. After arguing and having the manager come over, they gave me a brake. Would never go back as their prices are outrageous!

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for, in this case one of the best personal pan pizza's I've ever had. The meatballs were perfect, the cheese and sauce were awesome and the crust was excellent. I will go there again.

That's some pretty damn good pizza! Buffalo chicken and the sausage & pepperoni were da bombbbbbbbbbb!

Good pizza but marred by the attitude of the lady behind the bar. She had a nasty attitude and was not very forthcoming. Even though we had to wait 45 minutes while they stoked the oven, she wouldn't allow us to partake in the Happy Hours promo as we were waiting for the food because the rest of our party had a table. We even offered to do the bartab separate but she gave us a loud Nooo... Like we asked for her kidney. She was rude, assertive and in general had a bad attitude. No concept of 'customer is right" or trying to listen to the customer. Would've returned but the bad attitude won't make it an easy choice. They won't need Groupons if they got rid of her. And if she's one of the owners, then she needs some attitude-adjustment training. (Some = A LOT!)

We had a reservation for our group. It was a very cold night and despite our reservation, we were seated near the door. We could not take off our coats making the experience frigid at best. the food was tasty but also became cold very quickly. One makes a reservation to get better seating, not to get the worst seats in the house.

Grimaldi’s has been great always... Yesterday we had an even better experience... we got there early before their open time and we asked if we could sit outside in the meantime our party arrived. A few minutes later, Matt came with a cup of freshly brewed coffee for us... and they hadn’t even opened to the public! That is called GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE... thanks Matt.

We had a very good brick oven pizza and glass of Montepulciano. Very busy early on a Saturday night and the service was attentive and what you expect.
